What is the lash lift treatment ?

Lash lift is an eyelash treatment that changes the hair structure of your lashes using chemicals to achieve the desired look of lifted lashes. It is essentially a lash perming treatment which helps to give the look of thicker and longer lashes.

LVL Lash Lift or Lash Filler ?

There are two types of lash lifts services available LVL Lash lift and Lash Filler, both are available with optional tint (recommended to enhance lashes).

LVL stands for Length,Volume and Lift which is a treatment created by Nouveau Lashes. The treatment works to provide the appearance of longer and thicker lashes with the lift.

Lash filler is the lash lift treatment with the added long-term benefits of longer, thicker and healthier lashes provided by InLei. Lash filler has been clinically proven to improve natural lash thickness up to 24% and increased curl up to 31% after 3 treatments. Regular treatments are required to maintain these long-term effects and improve the condition and health of your natural lashes.

Who is suitable for Lash Lift Treatments?

Lash Lift treatments are suitable for many clients provided that they are not allergic to the products. As I provide two different lash lift treatments that consist of different products you will have to be patched tested for each type depending on the treatment you go for.

Both treatments are suitable for clients who have :

• Naturally straight or downward growing lashes

• Disordered or criss-crossed natural lashes

• Clients who want to take a break from eyelash extensions

• Clients who are allergic to eyelash extensions

• Clients who have lashes that are not visible until curled with lash curlers

• Clients who have long lashes to help enhance them

Lash filler is also recommended for clients who have :

• dry and brittle natural lashes that need nourishing

• thin natural eyelashes

• with ‘weak’ or sparse lashes

• who has damaged lashes

How long does the Lash Lift treatment last?

Both LVL lash lift and Lash filler can last 6-8 weeks if you follow the aftercare. This will also depend on your lifestyle. The tint with LVL lasts up to two weeks with the tint being more noticeable on clients with lighter natural lashes. The tint with lash filler stays within the hair follicle so remains until the lash grows out.

How long does the treatment take?

Both treatments take around 1 hour - 1hour 30 minutes including consultation and optional tint.

Aftercare & Maintenance

Lash lift treatments require little aftercare , the most important step after the treatment is to avoid getting them wet and not rubbing your eyes for the first 24hrs following the appointment. Mascara and eyeliner should also be avoided for the first 48hrs. Lash lift treatments can be rebooked every 4-5 weeks to maintain the look of lifted lashes.

Lash and Brow Conditioning Serum ( link on product recommendations) is also advised to help promote health of lashes. This is suitable to use with the lash lift treatments and can also be used on the brow hairs twice a day ( morning/evening after cleansing your face)
